NELSON RYLAND is currently a film editor and producer in New York City. After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design in 1992, Ryland received a Fulbright Scholarship in Documentary Film to Bulgaria where he directed and edited his 30-minute film "The Warmth of My Home": a human rights documentary about the name-change campaign against ethnic Turks in Bulgaria. Since then he has worked primarily as an editor and also a producer on numerous documentaries, feature, and television projects in New York. These include the IMAX documentary "Antarctica"; Bruce Weber's soon to be released doc. "Chop Suey Club"; Jill Morley's first person doc. about the sex industry Stripped; the ABC sitcom "Spin City"; the NBC sitcom "Lateline"; the feature films "Office Killer." directed by Cindy Sherman, "Company Man" starring Sigourney Weaver, and Norman Mailer's "Lonesome," to name a few. Other Television clients include MTV, VH1, ABC, The Food Network and The Travel Channel.
